I followed your instructions and moved the bar numbering block

Hi all - I'm currently using Lilypond 2.22.1 to set some handbell music, and
I'm encountering a problem with measure numbering.
I need all measures numbered in this score - for some reason, the first measure
number in each line is being printed twice:
Working file is attached.
Thanks much!
William,
I've been running Frescobaldi 2.18.2 in a Windows 10 environment for quite
awhile now, but I remember having problems early on in the conversion. I
uninstalled Frescobaldi, rebooted, and then reinstalled from a fresh download,
and haven't had any real issues since then.

Thank you for the moral support, Simon!
My "client", as you so kindly call her, is a bit headstrong, and I'll leave it
at that.
Thanks again!

Kieren,
Thank you so much for trying to help me. I couldn't figure out how to override
the stencil (I'm afraid I'm still too much of a novice), but I finally figured
out how to shift a regular rest horizontally so it appears a bit more centered.
Thank you again!

Good afternoon,
I am setting an interlude for a colleague. She has specified a full-measure

Just a suggestion from the peanut gallery here... I use my computer's word

Hi Molly,
How big a composition are we talking about, and what texture (SATB, brass

Thank you so much for your help - using R1 instead of r1 did the trick.
I don't know how, in a year's worth of reading documentation, the sentence
"Whole measure rests, centered in the middle of the measure, must be entered as
multi-measure rests." in section 1.2.2 of the Notation Reference
Hi all,
Sorry to bother you with a beginner's problem... I have been using Lilypond for

I've been dealing with it, but it's becoming more of a problem now that trying

Hi All,
I have encountered an auto-beaming problem (actually, the Violist for whom I'm
doing transcriptions brought it to my attention).
When working in 3/4, Lilypond is autobeaming 8th notes in groups of 3 8th notes
per pulse (as if it were 6/8) rather than in groups of 2 8th notes per pulse.
Hi All,
I've be working on converting a Gregorian chant from 4-line notation to 5-line
modern notation for service use, and I've stumbled across two problems:
1. Lilypond does not seem to be able to determine line length any more (line 2
of pdf). I have to insert a \bar "" to keep it from

FYI, I have to force breaks to avoid getting breaks in mid-melisma... I
finally managed to get a clef, but now I get two for the price of one!

I have been experimenting with gregorian.ly using a fairly long chant. It does
