hi, i am having difficulty with streaming quicktime into director. i'm talking about rtsp streaming, not the pseudo-streaming of downloading movies. anyway the stream comes in ok, but the video always has a size of 160x120 even when the size of the stream is larger. anyone know what i'm doing

Yes, the first one is the Jonkman article (my favorite article to reread). It seems the links got broken up in the email. The full link ends in ...flash in director.html. Just assemble the whole address in the browswer. And by the way, as far as just going to a flash frame from lingo, use:

In most cases your server will determine the bandwidth the user is at and stream the appropriate video. Don't know much about your streaming server but usually you would post a reference video. This video would reference the appropriate playback video for the user's connection. todd
