I am running a Debian A10 image on an Olimex Lime A10 board from a 16 gig
micro SD card. It boots and runs fine, but if I try to add or update
package it corrupts the SD card. Am I doing something wrong or is there
something I need to do before adding packages.

My hardware can definitly support to 192k. I have tried 2 kinds of
hardware, a high end Audio DAC and a USB to I2s converter. Both work on
windows to 192k.
Using aplay it showed on the console it was set to the proper samplerate.
mpd there is no easy way to tell. I guess I will have to try this at
I have an Olimex A20 board. My kernel has SPDIF compiled in. aplay sees the
SPDIF and plays to it. But there is no data on the pins I have defined for
it.
What am I missing? What else do I need to setup to make this work?

Yes, I can try out your patches. I am also still working on getting the I2s

Yes I have modified my .fex file. I will look into the gpio.
The I2s works on my A10 board but not my A20 board, so I am tracking down
why.

I am having an issue when playing USB audio. The audio always plays at 48K
no matter what the original sample rate is. I have tried with aplay and
with mpd.If I play a 44.1k file or a 192k file my DAC always shows 48k.
aplay says it is playing

Yes, I have i2s running on an A10 mars board. I just enabled the sunxi i2s
in the kernel config, built the kernel and it worked. But the mars board
has LED's on the I2S pins, so they are almost impossible to use as I2s. I
hooked wires up to it for a test and it worked. It showed up in alsa,
Looks like I uploaded the wrong config.
