I've tried it, and it didn't work too...
Also, i've tried combinations unbinding/reseting/binding,
reseting/unbinding/binding, unbinding/binding/reseting, etc
Doing this is not the same as manually unplugging/plugging...
Do you know anything else that could be done?
I'm about to give up...

Ok.
I unbinded it, but when I binded it again, the same problem happened. It
gave me those error messages =(
So I guess unbinding/binding doesn't have the same effect as manually
unplugging/plugging...
Any other suggestions?
Thank you a lot for helping me!

Ah: I forgot to say something... (sorry... should have written everything
on the same e-mail)
We've been analyzing the usb module files, especifically the file
driver/usb/core/hub.c . Looking at the function usb_reset_device (the last
one on the file), I saw that there is a variable called udev->s

We have a lot of these keyboards/hubs that are incompatible. We've just
got a few or the "working" hardware, and we won't be able to use them. Of
course, there are combinations that work together (th

More information:
Mice work when connected to the hub. Only keyboard doesn't.
Some keyboards work with this hub, some 2.0 hubs work with this keyboard.
I have A LOT (really) of these keyboards/hubs, that's why I'm trying to
solve the problem without changing the hardware.
Do you guys think there
Ah, yes, as a quick test I can. They keyboard works fine if it's connected
to the computer instead of the hub.
The problem is probably the hub.
Also, I tested the same keyboard with another hub, the keyboard works.
Also, I tested with the original hub, but another keyboard, and it worked
too.

It depends on the type of hub you use. W
No, it's not 2 hubs...
It's only one "physical" hub, with 7 ports. I think it simulates 2 hubs
with 4 ports each, or maybe there are REALLY 2 hubs inside the little
box... But they sell saying that it's 1 hub with 7 ports.
And I can't plug it directly to the computer... I have 4 keyboards and 4

But, isn't there a way to "turn around" it?
If manually unplugging/plugging solves the problem? Isn't there a way to
simulate unplugging/plugging using software? (the program someone sent me
didn't work).
Thanks a lot!!

Hi.
Please help me.
My problem is this:
I have a keyboard (that uses usb 2.0) and a USB HUB.
With the computer powered off I connect the keyboard on the USB HUB and
then I connect the usb hub to the computer. When, I turn on the computer,
I get a lot of error messages, and the keyboard doesn't w
