I have a Disk On Key 128MB on Linux 2.4.18-3, Red Hat 7.3 ,works fine
when plugged for the first time. After unplugging it and replugging it
it is impossible to mount it again. The commands mount /dev/sda1

I can't say whether I had exactly that problem, it's been too long
and I fixed it to
If you supply the contents of /proc/bus/usb/devices hopefully someone can
tell if there is any chance that the ACM module will support this device.

I can't get my Alacatel SpeedTouch USB 330 ADSL modem working. I have
posted messages to the Speedtouch driver list (I am using the
user-space driver), but have had no helpful responses there other than
to try this list.
These are the messages I get when trying to activate the device:

I'm trying to use in RedHat Linux 8.0 (kernel version 2.4.18-14) an USB ISDN
Terminal Adapter with Winbond 6694 chipset inside (the manufacturer is

I've tried with ACM module but it doesn't work. After loading the module

I have successfully gotten this device connected and am transfering data.
However, as I transfer data, the system freezes for about a second every 5-10

loaded?

I would recommend that you upgrade your kernel, but probably it's
worth waiting for a reasonably stable version of the 2.5 series.
I run 2.4.19 at the moment and there are lots of things ma
Hello,
I've attempted to get a Sony DRX-500UL (CD+DVD (re)writer) working under Linux.
I've tried
this both for USB1 and USB2 (the difference being that in the former
case I disabled the USB2 controller in the BIOS).
However, I haven't had much succes, and I get persistent error

i don't understand why the linux scsi-mod doesn't log what dev it
