If there's no solution, we'll have to do something, yes. Anyway, I'm
told everybody's changing to "Adwaita's syntax" now. I'm in touch with
Ubuntu Design Team to sort this out.

Don't worry. As soon as Light Themes (Ubuntu) drops some engine
controls and starts using native ones (like Adwaita does) this bug (and
others) will disappear. As we use Ubuntu core theme, it's not on us to
fix it, but it will be eventually.

Hi Nio,
Thank you for taking the time to find out a workaround for this. Your
work is greatly appreciated. :)
As for the bug( https://pad.lv/1574278 ), it seems to be an artwork
issue, so I've carbon-copied Rafael Laguna to bring this to his attention.
Have a nice day!

Yep, I think I've mentioned that same slow boot time in both of my PPC
Xenial installs, Lu & MATE . . . as well as slow boot for FF . . . once
that gets going things move along fairly well . . . but it's not a zippy
boot process to the log in window.

Hi,
I have noticed systemd slowing down my computer as well.
There are some tweaks you can do to make it boot quicker. AFAIK this is
mostly due to journctl logging excessively. This coupled with network
manager eventually makes the system crawl.
I could be wrong about this, but I think it
Dear Lubuntu List,
Has anybody else been having startup problems recently? I am dual-booting
Lubuntu 16.04 (x64) on a relatively new ultrabook with Windows 10.
I have been noting that my Windows 10 partition consistently boots up
faster than Lubuntu, but even more disturbingly, there have been
Lubuntu Yakkety Yak Alpha 1 (soon to be 16.10) has been released!
We have a couple papercuts listed in the release notes[1], so please
take a look. We currently have a bug (with a workaround) that breaks
creating BTRFS and XFS partitions using the desktop installer.
A big thanks to Brendan
Really pacman is messing the order of archives... And Lubuntu is having
audio problems, not to mention if you want to add an external monitor to
a notebook on Lubuntu when you close the note you lost external monitor
and there no options to solve the problem i Lubuntu you have to do It
alone.
