Hi
Using Lubuntu 12.04, which on my system was ubuntu and then had the
lubuntu-desktop package installed
I am looking for the widget thing that brings up a list of start up
applictions, with tick boxes so anything un checked can be stopped from
starting at login.
I am unable to find anything

One of the reasons I want to re-install I can just bring over to the
main system what |I use most often and store everything else externally.

Just tried to extract a zip file downloaded from github, got an error
turns out it wasn't fully downloaded. Once downloaded fully it was fine.

i think its something like gnome-disks
If I go to settings manager and type disks it now comes up with a
completely different application.

I have an Lenovo keyboard, ctrl-alt are in the bottom left, fn key
is in the top right and then there is f1-f12,
lets just say it is interesting doing ctrl-alt-f1, it is doable just

If you install hplip then this is the hp printing system, it a gui
tool to look at printer status, ink levels etc
I have a wireless HP envy, to set that up i type something like
hp-setup 192.168.0.x (ip of printer) and it runs a wizard to help you
, but I think there needs to be some
sort of consistency in naming here.
I just wondered if this was common to lxde, or is it the way debian lxde
is set up.
