Also the arranger seems to like extreme paralellism as witnessed by measures 1 to 4 and for instance measure 10 is also very funny. I do not know the piece but Monteverdi surely has nothing to do with this base line, let alone the continuo realisation. Who is Jorge Gaete C. anyway? Lex
