I encountered two ugly problems with LyX 1.4:
MAJOR ISSUE: The layout styles (title, author, section, subsection, etc.) are
no longer shown in the pull-down menu on the left of the LyX window; it is
blank now.
Minor Issue: Load Extended.lyx and try to scroll down by pointing at the
[EMAIL PROTECTED] さんは書きました:
This has been fixed. You can find the patch in this mailing list. The
fix will eb included in CJK-LyX-1.3.6, of course.

I did not meet with success in setting up tex2lyx.exe
and tex2lyx.cmd. I received the error message: Cannot
open specified file. Create new document with this name?
Originally, I had a C:\python24 not under Tools. So I made
a directory c:\tools and moved python24

1.. Selection of language for menus during install process does
not work (version 16 was ok). Menus are in english.

decided to uninstall Lyx and reinstall it again, accepting all default settings
proposed by the installer.
Starting the program from the installer gave me the menus in english. After
