I am trying to generate a PDF-file and a HTML-Version of the LyX manuals for
my pupils. The problems which occur are in one case terrific, I must admit.

there was no error. After closing lyx and trying to open the document

Here is the final part of my translation patch series. It adds
xx.lproj directories (actually empty,
it seems to be enough) in the LyX/Mac bundle.
The result is that all entries (except LyX>Reconfigure) are
translated, provided that trolltech has been
nice enough to provide a translation

I simply set LANG, no other LC_* variables
