to the target file? It's also odd that the path would start in the temporary
buffer directory -- if you use Insert - Include File, even

On Fedora Core 3, I installed tetex-3.0 from the development tree for
FC4 and it works fabulous. THe new xdvi is much much better and the
funny problem with the fonts in URLs is fixed.
So it seems to me you might want to double-check your 3.0 install before
giving up.

This is probably obvious and been answered a million times before but is
there a list of all the in built keyboard shortcuts for lyx.
The post about ERT alerted me to the very useful ctrl-l for the ERT box
and I am sure there must be others that are time saving.
Any pointers to a list would

If you right-click on an ERT, you have a dialog that allows to set the
said ERT to inlined state. I am not sure there is a

Right click on the inset and a little dialog will pop up. Select the
"inline"

On Fedora Core 3, I installed tetex-3.0 from the development tree for
FC4 and it works fabulous. THe new xdvi is much much better and the
funny problem with the fonts in URLs is fixed.
So it seems to me you might want to double-check your 3.0 install before
giving up.
