There is a problem with lyx when you are using change tracking and you
have citations that you delete. lyx itself is OK in that it shows the
deleted citation reference struck through, but if you try to print or
create a pdf, you get an error message as follows:

[1] Use the libqt4-* packages from testing or pick them up at
snapshot.debian.net / http://snapshot.debian.net/package/qt4-x11
As a second step you should set them on hold with dpkg
--set-selections
until this issue is resolved. I guess you've to roll back to 4.3.4-2.

I have a lyx template which I use for printing onto 3x5 index cards (for

I have been asked if it is possible to print 4 of the index cards on a
single piece of A4 so that the cards can then be cut up with a guillotine.

Is it possible to write texinfo manuals with lyx ? I am running 1.4.1,
and can't see an appropriate document class. I have the sgmltool
packages installed, and can use the linuxdoc article if necessary, but
that seems a bit restricted (footnotes for example don't appear to work).
Many thanks

I have a lyx file which I can open in lyx, and view, print etc.
The file in question is a lyx file I have put together for a quote

If I copy this file to the lyx templates directory,

Hi
Yes - RCS is (IMHO) the best way to do it, but you need to use the rcs
latex package.
In your preamble add this:
\usepackage{rcs}
\RCS $Header$
\RCS $Date$
\RCS $Revision$
then later on in your document, you can add this (in ERT):
Revision: \RCSRevision
Date of last revision: \RCSDate
