Is there a trick when exporting the document?
Like only some way to generate the PDF will manage/preserve links?
My LyX version is 1.6.5 for RHEL 5, if it matters.

Then I checked almost everything, to be sure I would see
if any of these feature has some effect.

If by "package" you mean "LaTeX package", then the answer is: LyX
doesn't store LaTeX packages or even have much to do with them. That is
