Hi, My question is related to using SVG graphics inside LyX. I'm trying to use a SVG graphic inside a LyX document. This document is going to be exported to PDF with pdflatex. The default installation of LyX doesn't seem to handle SVG file format, so I created a SVG entry in the File Formats

SVG-EPS rendering by inkscape, which this script uses, is crappy. i strongly suggest that it is not used. http://wiki.inkscape.org/wiki/index.php/PrintingConsensusPoll scribus should be way better outputting EPS, however, scribus misinterprets SVG images drawn in inkscape (and in general afaik).

I don't think you were aware, when writing your review, that the strength of LyX is generating mathematical equations as LyX is a front-end to (La)TeX. Actually my example article did use a mathematical equation to illustrate the power of LyX, in fact, that was the very first example I gave
