Error on Memoir after Linux upgrade

Hi all, I googled this thing from here to eternity, and didn't find anything helpful. This happened right after I replaced Ubuntu 11.10 with Xubuntu 12.10. This book, whose document class is based on Memoir, got four error messages like this: Class memoir Error: The pagestyle 'cleared' is marked
