I am typesetting a LyX document with a liberal mix of English and Russian. No matter what I try, a LyX command View[PDF(latex)] produces pixeled bitmapped fonts in PDF. Please, help by walking me through a FULL sequence of steps to ensure VECTOR fonts for both Russian and English. Details:

No you don't. Leave all fonts at default setting. cm-super will select the right glyphs automatically for you. (The default are the different shapes of the Computer modern fonts and CM-super is their vector replacement.) ... If you really want to use another font than Computer modern,
