SOLVED I used the package morefloats this is in ctan - misc folder. I also used the package afterpage and put in the preamble : \usepackage{morefloats} \usepackage{afterpage} and to flush all floats at a particularly difficult section used in Tex \afterpage{\clearpage} It seems to work for now
