<>, [], {}. I can see the logic behind this, treating logically as "opening parenthesis" and as "closing parenthesis", and them mapping it, logically, to Hebrew which is right-to-left. the culmus-fonts package doesn't offer latex support. For getting culmus to work in latex, you will need the culmus-latex package. Unfortunately, I don't think it's in the official repositories for openSUSE. However, installation is quite easy. You will find the right things to add in the latex file your are importing so its really just cut and paste 2. Insert text with whatever paragraph style you are missing . Doing this once for every style is enough. For example, go to the first lemma, delete the latex code and mark it as a lemma in lyx. All lemmas will now compile correctly. Hope it helps Guy

Hi, I'm looking for a way to set the align environment as the default one in LyX for multiline formulas. E.g. when in display mode and I press Ctrl+Enter I want the formula to use the align environment instead of the eqnarray one. Is it possible? If so, how can I do it? Thanks, Guy

(doesn't show as active) with lyx (which compiled properly). maybe i'm overlooking a simple config solution? has anyone else had this problem or have any suggestions? any lyx veterans who can shed light on the darkness of noob ignorance? thanks much. -guy

matches the serif font (times), but can't find an option to do the same to the fixed pitch fonts. I find I frequently have to put blocks of material which use fixed pitch into \footnotesize ... \normalsize blocks to avoid overfull \hbox warnings from pdflatex. Many thanks guy
