Just to clarify #2, when you say "compile" you mean File > Export
(as opposed to View), correct? If you click the viewer button or use
the View menu to generate a PDF, LyX automatically opens the PDF in
the designated viewer program (intended behavior).

Hi,
I have been using LyX 2.2.1 for a while, and I found the following two issues:

While I still do not know the culprit of this problem, I think I have found a
workaround. Even when `paste` is disabled, `paste recent` is still active, so I
just binded ctrl+v to `paste 0` instead of `paste`. It seems to be working well
so far.

As Vincent said, we'd LOVE to have more information about this bug.
It seems to happen only on some machines, so may have something to
do with what other programs are running, and so forth. If you can

This happens to me (with all versions of lyx that I have been using so far)
when I leave the file in lyx open for too long (for days, for example). I
resolve it by simply shutting it off and then restarting. It is not a serious
problem.

Hi,
I'm using LyX 2.1.4 in Windows 10 64bit, but I have had this issue for a while.
If LyX has been open for a while, suddenly paste stops working - it becomes

Hi,
Is there a functionality in LyX where I can swith to the last used tab?
(Instead of buffer-previous and buffer-next)? I would love to map that
functionality to ctrl-tab.

Hi,
I just found that with the exact same setting, inverse search which worked
fine in LyX 2.0.6 does not work in LyX 2.0.7. (I just removed 2.0.7 and
reinstalled 2.0.6 to verify.)
I'm using LyX in Windows with SumatraPDF, with TexLive 2013. Is this a

Should have read the manual first :) Look for Help -> Specific Manuals ->

I'm having the same issue - it is caused by lack of "grouping" for that
particular slide. It seems the frame environment need to encompass the
contents of the frame (you will see vertical grouping line on the left
