I've installed lyx1.3.5 and tetex3.0 with texmf. When
I'm trying to open the user's manual or FAQ Lyx crashs
and in my console I found this error message:
BadValue (integer parameter out of range for
operation) id: 27263169
Any idea? Have I to install another tex package?

when opening some *.lyx-files using lyx (up to version 1.3.3), lyx
crashed without any notice.
This happens, when you try to open a file located in a directory named
with $ at the beginning (In my case, that was
/home/tweller/Documents/$Tom/ If you encounter the same problem,
check
the same problem - sometimes.
When is it natural to have a directory with '$' in it? I'd guess that
would go against all portability guidelines?
But of course LyX shouldn't crash.

Hi all,
when opening some *.lyx-files using lyx (up to version 1.3.3), lyx
crashed without any notice.
This happens, when you try to open a file located in a directory named
with $ at the beginning (In my case, that was
/home/tweller/Documents/$Tom/ If you encounter the same problem,
check
the same problem - sometimes.
When is it natural to have a directory with '$' in it? I'd guess that
would go against all portability guidelines?
But of course LyX shouldn't crash.

I am just trying to debug the crash with the qt submenu and keyboards with the
help of Trolltech, who cannot (yet) reproduce the crash, though.
Just to exclude some weirdness on my system, can some of you who also see the
crash try to reproduce it with the attached example app?
