So, I have already written my document (which is more than 50 pages if I remember well) in which the majority is Greek text but there is a _not_ so small part of english (commands and command outputs) spreaded all over the document. So I don't think anybody (from the perspective of an end-user), would sit-down and mark&(re)define the text (no matter if seeting the language to Greek and marking English or the opposite). Well, you might say that this is my mistake. Accepted. But I don't see this as an option now. Redefining only the \xnames is enough for me. It works. Well, I might need to re-define the "Cross-references" as well. (BTW, can I re-define the cross-references the same way I did with the others?). In future I will be more careful now that I know that and I'll act accordingly. > > > Impossible... or can this be "filtered" > > with some find & replace actions? > > Not from within lyx. This is not an option if I have to mark every single english word and set the language to english. Impossible... or can this be "filtered" with some find & replace actions? Funny, I was reading right a bit about LGR some minutes ago. [*] > > 2. I get lot's of errors related with "\textfont", see screenshot [1] > > I supposer they are followups of the first error. Adjust the \appendix to match "kerkis" fonts
Hi all! I finally managed to get "Greek" Translations of various Headings using the article(KOMA-Script) and the Language set to English. I also use the kerkis package which is in my opinion very nice looking. However there is one small problem concerning the "\appendix". If am I not wrong, \appendix is not an environment but a command (source: the KOMA-Script documentation). This is why,I think, it gets re-set to completely normal text and does not match the other headings. I tried to play around with some settings (\textbf, \huge, \large, etc.) but, obviously, this does not set the same font as used in the rest of the document. Can someone shed some light? How can I explicitly set the font for the Appendix (in my case for "\textgreek{Par\char136rthma})? Thank you, Nikos. --- Below the "\renewcommand"'s I use in the preamble :-) \usepackage{kerkis} % abstract \AtBeginDocument{% \renewcommand\abstractname{\textgreek{Per\char208lhyh}}% } % contents \AtBeginDocument{% \renewcommand{\contentsname}{\textgreek{Perieq\char236mena}}% } % indexname \renewcommand\indexname{\textgreek{Euret\char160rio}} % list of figure and figure floats \AtBeginDocument{% \renewcommand\listfigurename{\textgreek{Euret\char160rio} \textgreek{eik \char236nwn}}% } \renewcommand{\f...@figure}{\textgreek{eik\char236na}~\thefigure} % list of tables and table floats \AtBeginDocument{% \renewcommand\listtablename{\textgreek{Euret\char160rio} \textgreek{pin \char136kwn}}% } \renewcommand{\f...@table}{\textgreek{p\char208nakac}~\thetable} % bibliography %\renewcommand\bibname{Bibliograf\char208a} % references \AtBeginDocument{% \renewcommand{\refname}{\textgreek{Phg\char232c}}% } % appendix \AtBeginDocument{% \renewcommand\appendix{\textgreek{Par\char136rthma}}% } =
