Hi, Many thanks to all who replied pointing me to the "extsizes" package. Using it's 8pt fontsize almost solved my problem (I installed the "extsizes" from CTAN and then added the "\usepackage[8pt]{extsizes}" to the document's "Layout -> LaTeX Preamble" - koma-script documents need nothing more).
