How do I convert a table, paragraph or figure marked as US English
into UK English, when the document is already set to UK English
(Document - Settings - Language)?
I have set my document to use UK English (British), but when I copy
and paste tables from another Lyx document written

with article.sty. With Jurabib, you can probably customize this differently.

Just to clarify. I did install it months ago, 1.5.5 was OK. Then I
installed 1.6, playing with layout, class file. Maybe I did delete by
mistake that file..I dont know.

I had a strange behavior occurring in my last LyX session:
I was happily writing in the main editing window, while having the outline
open in a separate window and on a separate monitor when suddenly the main
window went blank. And I really mean blank: the editing pane became a white
blanket
You can use the package nopageno in the preamble for that.
