Hello,
While editing an example file for crossref implementations in LyX,
I found a couple of shortcut conflicts I had overlooked (in math context

Menus.cpp(587): Menu warning: menu entries "Ajouter une ligne

I have a conflict too here when I write in Portuguese with an international
keyboard.
I need to type alt-c to get a ç, but it is already a Lyx shortcut.
I tested with the Brazilian keyboard there is no problem.
The problem is that I have a laptop and don't want to change the keyboard

Hello,
I know how an enumeration nested in a (e.g.) Definition works:
Definition 1 "Pretext"
1. "Some Text"
2. "More Text"
But now I want to generate something like this:

1. "Some Text"
2. "More Text"

Usually the trick is to add a protected space in stead of "Pretext", so
Ctrl+Space for instance

If you are aware of such conflicts, please post me the messages that you
may see in the command window from which you started LyX (on Linux, I
don't know where to see these messages on Windows).
My post only concerns the French interface.

Hello,
I found out that enumeration of formulas can be invoked by menu and
tryed that. Than a "(#)" appears inside the formula. My problem is, that
the number is on the left side of the formula - in contrairy to the
description in the help. The effect is the same, either when I try the

Hello,
how do I let the chapter enumeration begin with 0 instead of 1?

While it is good to support a wide choice of systems for version
control, for a "portable LyX document" *one* format is the right way.
I see the argument, and you may be right. BU

Try in your LaTeX preamble
\setcounter{chapter}{-1}
or in TeX code before the first chapter

This works without error.
I can also confirm that "linecache.y" is in my directory
"/usr/lib/python2.6"
My path also looks like it is in order:
>>> import sys
>>> sys.path
['', '/usr/lib/python2.6', '/usr/lib/python2.6/plat-li
Hi all!
When I launch my Lyx the lyxlauncher window doesn't hides automatically, it
just stays side by side with main Lyx window. I tried uninstalling the
program but it doesn't help. This is just a little annoying.
Thank you!
Dear All,
How can one implement sort&compress for natbib in a lyx file? When I try, it
says it was already defined (as I have my bibliography set for natbib), but I
can't change the options on that LyX set natbib.
Thanks!
