I'll be honest here, I would have never guessed and quite shocked that anyone would consider the word that was used a "swear" word. I come from a very conservative family, as in no alcohol drinking, no profanity, church 3 times a week baptist family, and my parents used that word. Is there a

I tend to fall on the side of adding a command line switch to turn off the function if not desired, but the default could be to strip/modify. The operating system A files compatible with operating system B seems to be more of a job for a translator, not a disk emulator. However if the disk

Your machine may not have been messed with prior, all my electrolytics were dotted from the factory. Also, as far as the donuts go, there should be only 5. They don't go on all the posts. You can see which ones they go on in the exploded view of the technical reference manual for the 100 pg 58.

A standard shroud works fine on the 102, it's only the 100 that has an issue. So the extension, or modification would only be needed by 100 users. On Wed, Nov 28, 2018 at 12:20 PM Josh Malone wrote: > On Wed, Nov 28, 2018 at 12:18 PM Rick Shear wrote: > > > > Please make sure

Please make sure you build yours and test it out before doing a group buy. While I have used mine, and I have had no issues show themselves, I really don't use my drive much. I've shifted a lot of my time over to a Model 3 project machine and haven't worked on the 100 in a while. My tests mostly

I for one was not knocking the REX, it's a fantastic device. I think what Brian was referring to was placing the REX into a molex carrier with these pins wrapped around it like a stock ROM would be instead of spacing with cardboard and a ribbon for removal. I agree that most people would not

I saw the SparkFun pins a while ago. It was before I had rekindled my model T interest and had completely forgotten about them. I think they would be a neat addition to a variant of the REX board and an actual carrier. I think if I'm not mistaken the REX as it currently is designed is too long
