This is true. As long as you have that setup, the Mini beleives it has a
monitor connected.

Hi Jim,
You might want to wait to hear from John Panarese, or some other Mac Mini owner
who uses the adapter combination in place of a monitor, but my understanding is

Hi Folks:
I've got the necessary components to run my Mac Mini without a monitor.
My question is, is there anything particular that I need to do with the
VGA to NTSC converter or does it just work out of the box? I did plug it
in to a USB port on the mac as well as connected it to a mini disp
omputer in thinking that it is connected to a display?
Cheers.

HiJim
I used to have one that a friend made for me. But it stopped working on
the 2010 models I tried. Ours are server models and they seem to
sometimes work alright without the display but not always.
The pri
o have a dummy terminator plug to fool the
computer in thinking that it is connected to a display?
Cheers.

Hello Jim
The server version is quite a lot different. And the price is a lot
higher.

I think you'll need some sort of display connected to the Mini in order to
use it. If it's the same as the 2009/2010 models, they made it so that it
wouldn't work properly without a monitor.

Hi Folks:
I am considering celling my MacBook Pro in favour of a Mac Mini for portability
reasons. Is there anything that I should know about the mini with regards to
accessibility?
Thanks all over the place gang.
