I've worked out the difference between apps I can copy out of the archive and
paste in applications or utilities and the more complex apps with there own
more windows like installers but I've come across a few things I'm ignorant of
in regard to uninstalation and the like.
When I use open with
I believe if you do VO shift M whilepointed at a file and go to get file info,
you can set the default program to open that type of file from there.
