Hi James,
Ok, I can certainly try that. I've tried a couple of times now with varying
results, but still no luck getting it installled. I do think it successfully
downloaded to my mac, though. It keeps saying my phone can't be restored
because of an internal error, which seems weird to me.
Hi Cait,
Out of interest, what version of iTunes are you running? I'd need to check
this, but I've got a feeling that iTunes v.10+ only works on Lion. Your being
on Snow Leopard might expalin why iOS 5 is not taking.
I'll let you know.
TC :)

Hi Donal,
What phone are you using? I assume you have updated to the latest version of
IOS 4 before trying to update to IOS 5? This may not be important, but when
Lion was released, it required that users update to 10.6.8 I believe before
attempting the update. Maybe something similar here.
Ahhh! I was wondering if anyone else is having problems. I keep getting iPad
can't be restored, first it was an internal error then it was unknown error
3014.

Hi!
I get the same thing. I get an internal error, running iTunes 10.5 official
and OS X 10.7.2, iPhone 4 with iOS 4.3.5.
That's certainly some detail
Makes perfect sense smile, I'm at a loss to understand why everyone wants the
update in a hurry, I mean its going to be available tomorrow, next weeek, next
fortnight and so on smile.
