If it is a music cd I use iTunes then move the stuff some ware else and get rid
of the tracks in iTunes as they are no longer needed. For a dvd I use hand
brake and I used to use switch to get the audio out of the mp4 of the dvd.
Take care.

Personally I would try first of all to put Voiceover verbosity to low to see
if that resolves the problem.
If that does you should, I think, be able to reproduce this in an activity.
If this does not work I guess I would try muting speech in fine reader as a
definite way of shutting it up, but
hey,
thank you verry mutch for all this info.
i will look at all the options in time.

Michael

If you mean a music then iTunes is pretty much it, I just stick the cd in and
let iTunes do its thing. it's fast and free and comes with the computer and if
you stick it in classic view by showing the side bar with cmd option s or the
view menu then it works good. If you mean a program cd I

to a different column, then just hit down arrow and you are now reading that
row. Good luck.
