something has been bugging me ever since i started using VO on the mac.
if i have a german voice installed and i find german text VO can not detect
and switch to german.
on IOS language dictionaries are built into VO so an iPhone can do it
automatically.

You can change the voice on the fly by pressing VO-Cmd-Down Arrow as long as
you leave the voice rotor on voice. I do this all the time between English and
French.

If you own the excellent Voice Dream Reader IOS app (VDR), you might try
opening the website in VDR and selecting / copying the text using the
alternative method provided in that app. It’s still not a perfect solution, but
is better than the default method provided in IOS, IMHO.

If you have a newer Mac, Pages is free. It can export into Word and other
formats. Unlike Libre Office, it doesn't separate every paragraph into a
separate VoiceOver group.

I am finally making progress learning VoiceOver. I primarily do my
writing in Libre Office because I can save my files in all necessary formats
(.doc, .rtf, pdf, and more). I am still having difficulty figuring out the
basics of reading, writing, and editing in Libre Office
Is Automator accessible with VoiceOver? I read that you could use Automator to
send email messages at a certain time, but the instructions are for sighted
