O.K., so you won't laugh lets set the boundaries right out of the box. I am
illiterate when it comes to the iPad. Not that I can't use it but I have had
syncing problems (as I guess others have) and when I find something that is a
gee whiz I like to sharejust in case there may be one
Yes you can move pdf's with iTunes also. Might be able to use the MobileMe app
to transfer pdf's thru the cloud. I haven't tried doing that yet.
I like getting my magazine subscriptions on the iPhone and iPad. Photoshop User
just started doing this and it will save me all kinds of room.
I would recommend using GoodReader on the iPad/Iphone as a PDF/text/Word
reader. It's very versatile and allows you to transfer files via your MobileMe
or iDisk cloud storage. I have recently begun using Dropbox as an easy way to
transfer files between devices.

ED, I always keep wondering how good your eyes seem to be. Even
reading books on the iPhone is getting bothersome for me. And doing
my banking is a bit strenuous. I haven't progressed to the iPad as
yet, but here seems to lie my future should I ever be able to manage
to leave this house
Dan,
What's dropbox?

Well the new iPhone 4 screen is real sharp for text and you can adjust the size
of the font in many applications. The iPhone 4 also supports screen reading.

I don't have an iPad but would sure like arrow keys on the iPod touch keyboard.
Anyone know of any way to move around and make corrections in what they are
entering on the touch keyboard?

Anne,Press your finger on spot where you want the cursor to be. You may have to wait until the Touch recognizes it, but the magnifying 'glass' will pop up, and let you put the cursor where you want it. Arrows would be nice, but looks like this is the way they want us to conform.BillOn 15 Sep,
