If you use the lircrc attached copying it to /etc/lirc/lircrc it works: irexec In another terminal irxevent. Now add irexec and irxevent to the startup items and add sudo lircd -H macmini -d /dev/hiddev0 /etc/lirc/lircd to /etc/rc.local Reboot and all is working on => 2.6.22 kernel 2007/8/7, Magar
