Hi all,
I have experienced this as well, but it seems to me that even though VO doesn't
make any sound, the characters get entered. Mind you, I still wish they'd fix

assuming that what I'm typing is being entered,
Hi all,
This morning I downloaded some zipped mp3 files. I tried to unzip them by
pressing Enter on the file. This opened the Quick Panel View, but I did end up
with a directory of these files that I can locate in Finder. However, they all
seem to be truncated. Anyone know what might be

To decompress zipped files, press Command-o or select Open from the File menu.
This launches the UnArchiving utility which expands the folder and puts it in

Hi Sarah,
I'm glad to hear you're enjoying the Mac. You can copy items (both
files and folders) from one folder on your harddrive, and then paste
them in another folder. I realize that's more cumbersome than dragging
and dropping, but as far as I know, that's the most reliable way to

Well, When dealing with the loops that are are made for Garageband apple
loops, they come in different lengths depending on the loop. some of them are

Hi all!
I am almost certain that I've restored my voiceover preferences from a file
somewhere previously. Now I can't find that option anywhere.
My voiceover just reset itself and I don't know why!
Anybody know where that restore option is?
