Hi.
You can go to http://www.assistiveware.com/purchaseonline.php and buy
for example one of english voices and get Heather for free which looks
like Samantha. Nuance doesn't sell voices directly, but they'll come in
the next release of Mac OS X.

Hi,
The 1Password application itself is totally accessible. There are, however, a
couple of initial screens that only come up the first time you run the program
that do not work with VoiceOver. One of them is asking about whether or not you

For an accessible Pandora app, use Pianopub and label the buttons as the

Hi Kevin,
I've never had any luck with the Pandora site using my Mac, probably because it
is flash. But there is an app you can get from the app store on your Mac called
pyrcast, which works quite well. It has a bunch of unlabeled buttons, and my
experience has been that you have to move mouse
Because the mac app store is knew, some apps cannot be found there. You can
download Pianopub from my site, chicksdigmacs.net. Or you can google the
official site for Pianopub.

Recently, I posted saying that it was easy to label the pyrcast buttons with a

Thanks, Rose, for the tip on where to find pianopub. Does it also let you add
stations like pyrcast? Or can you just play what you already have?

No problem, :). Yes, you can create new stations with Pianopub. If you want to
switch stations, you'll have to root your mouse cursor to VO and click with the
mouse. Other than that, the app works great once labeled. I love it.

Hi listers, I'am experimenting problems to update my iPhone4 to the

I have a Macbook Air runs Mac OS 10.6.7 and iTunes 10.2.1.
When I plug my iPhone, iTunes display update notification and crash.
Voiceover stop speaking and I need to press the power button to
reboot the Macbook Air.
Hi,
I didn't experience this when I upgraded my iPod Touch. DO you have any more
information about how the crash happened? Was there a dialog that popped up?
Did you try cmd-f5 to restart Voiceover? You sometimes need to hit it several
times. This seems strange...

Hi:
You need to go in to the advanced options on the Brailliant. Hold down the 1st
and 40th curser router buttons. Then add the 1st and 4th vertical keys. You'll
hear a beep. Let up on the keys, and you'll be in the advanced menu options,
where you can change to Bluetooth.
