Hi Chris thanks for the searching. The problem is that the original installer wont even run because apparently its powerpc software and lion does not allow that to run. This is a new macbook air so I am not upgrading but only installing the drivers for the first time now. I will check though

Iona, Here's an answer to your first 2 questions. 1. To go to the top of the message list in Lion mail with classic view off, it's vo shift home for top, and vo shift end for bottom of message list. If you have a laptop, then home is fn plus the left arrow, and end is the fn plus right arrow.
