Would someone please remind me how I find a dmg file I downloaded to my mbp?
Then, please also remind me how I go about installing that downloaded dmg
program.
Thank you,

Ok to open the Downloads folder press command-option-l from within the
Finder. Now to open a Dmg image press command-o once the file is
selected. It will mount to your desktop and so you should be able to
work it out from there. If not just ask for more help.

Hello,
In Pages, you can read tables if you go to the Inspector and, using the Wrap
Inspector, select Floating. Tables wil now appear as separate objects from the
main body of the text. They are also completely editable.

Hi Christopher,
Well, I was able to get the Audacity folder on my desktop. However, after
opening that folder I see an Audacity applickkation file. But when I went to
copy that file to my applications folder I am stopped there. I am unable to

It sounds like you have the same security settings I have on my Mac, and I

Anne, is this something new, this floating tables? I never heard of those. What
do they do besides let us edit the things?

Hello Gigi,
There was quite a discussion about handling tables in Pages back in January.
Barry Hadder came up with this solution and I've since used it to edit tables
in Word documents that I've had for translation.
You have to highlight one table in the document for all the tables to show up
You can actually do a VO-shift-M and choose open from the contextual menu,
and it will open. You only have to do this once, and you'll get an initial
warning message, but after that, you'll be able to copy, open, etc.

Oh, I've found it alright, but it's 2 grand for the course I want to take.
That includes the cert test but still. A lowly AT trainer such as myself with
no backing… It's a lot of money.

In terms of printing envelopes you could set up a base document that already

I have the 16GB version. Have 11GB left and are using 2,6GB. So where are the

From other discussion threads this appears to be somewhat normal. Used
to be 57GB so I guess the installed base of apps has grown. I guess
that's why they don't sell a 16GB model anymore.

I may have to consider this myself. I don't have a certification myself and it
certainly would look good on the resume.

Thanks very much. This is working rather nicely. I do have one problem

VO-Shift-Space command seems to fix that. Just out of curiosity, has anyone
else had that same experience? Why does it happen?
Thanks for the help.
