Mac Gourmet is 24.95 for the regular version and twice that for the deluxe version. The deluxe version has a menu planner and a meal planner and a cookbook maker. Not sure that it is all necessary. The regular version does everything else I believe. I really like its ease of use but paprika

I went ahead and turned off Gate Keeper. It's just easier that way because if you downloaded some more apps not in the app store, you'd have to do what Ray and Phil said to do. Although I guess it could be personal preference. If you're that worried and paranoyed that something may go wrong
