Hello, Can you think of an example of one of these dialogs that popped up? I have installed Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 with VMWare Fusion and I can absolutely confirm that the installation is fully automated and no dialogs interupt it at any point. This is by design, and is the reason the easy insta

I had to hit enter every 5 minutes or so. Sometimes dialogs pop up - confirmed this with a sighted person. Also, as long as you do not enter a password in the setup screen you should be logged in automatically. -Shaf On 6/19/2015 3:58 AM, Grant wrote: Since there is no guarantee that the use

Since there is no guarantee that the user will be logged in automatically, trying to open the run dialog might not work. WINDOWS+ENTER is guaranteed to work unless something goes wrong, so it is the better option for starting Narrator. Also, there should be no need to hit ENTER every few minutes

Hi Marshall, congratulations on taking the plunge! The installation using VMWare's "easy install" method can be done without sighted help. VMWare asks all the relevant questions up front, then automates the Windows setup. In Windows 8.1, you don't have a startup sound by default. However, about

Hi Marshall, I unfortunately can't answer your second question, but I can answer the first. You can install the windows machine in VMWare Fusion with no sighted assistance required. It will walk you through the setup process, and then it will take a while, maybe about half to an hour to complete.
