I haven’t gotten the voice over lag myself. I find it very interesting in this thread how different all of our voice over experiences are. Some are much more stable than others and it seems the experience is different from the same machine classes. I do notice the clean installs do the best

Go to security under general and almost all the way to the right there’s an area where you can set from App Store only. If you’re trying to install as well you’ll see in many cases a one off entry where you can approve the specific application. The key is to be under general under security.

Thatmay be do to really old hardware. Don’t have these issues on a new model. I did have return from sleep mode issues in the beta but that’s the beta so a different animal but somewhat related to your log in issues so it might indicate in your case a problem supporting the older display
