Hello Everyone,
A week or so ago, some people were asking how to stop iOS from prompting for
the latest update. I do not remember to which forum the question was
posted; nor do I remember if an answer was ever given.
However, based only on my own recent experience with two of my iOS devices,

I use an iPad Pro 10.5. I do not usually use a bluetooth keyboard (either
braille or QWERTY). Instead, I use Braille Screen Input. I have a few forms
which work originally created in MS Word. These forms have lots of graphics, so
Jaws does not work with them. However, we converted the forms
Hi folks,
I have an iPad mini 2, which has just about become slow enough to drive me
crazy. So I am either going to have to bite the bullet and go for a full-size
iPad or just give up the whole notion of having two Apple devices. I know that
there is someone better keyboard support in iOS 11,

Hi,
I believe I read something that mentioned that a bug has ben submitted with
respect to Mail and VoiceOver usage. For the most part, I use just arrow keys
for now when in the content area of Mail as VO navigation within the message
content is messed up in my opinion. You're welcome to
I can't delete in mail if I have typed a wrong letter. Voice over seems not to
be focusing in the right place all the time but I have checked everything in
voice over preferences.

Hi everyone.
Since I've updated to MacOS high Sierra, I've noticed some very strange things
with VoiceOver.
First of all, when composing an Email, in the actual body of the message, when
navigating by character, using only the arrow keys, not quick nav, VoiceOver
skips past certain ones you
Hi.
I updated to the latest MacOS without any problems from a clean install after
having a little help with wiping my disc.
Everything updated and so far I like it.
I even put my braille embosser driver on here without any problems.
Voice over is mis behaving if I try to delete things in mail
Hi Robert,
You are right: I’ve just tried to navigate the getting started guide but all I
could do is to activate table of content and that is it! I can’t actually
navigate the table of content in order to choose the topic. Maybe it needs to
be reported to the Accessibility team.

Hi,
I just installed it last night. I did a clean install then migrated all of my
settings over from my backup drive. I had one problem where the migration
assistant took so long that I let it go over night, but it just sat there so I
canceled the migration for now then setup my accounts and
Hi,
Regarding whether it's better to use one method or another. I'd say that it's
just a matter of preference. Some folks prefer the ease of using an app that
does all the background work for you and presents things in a graphical
interface for them. Others prefer to go down to the basics
No that does not do it. This happens in some dialogs such as error
dialogs. Sometimes at the same time the normal speech is playing,
sometimes with a delay.

Sometimes I can get it to work.
Most of the time Voice Over speech gets in the way of alexa trying to hear my

Hi I tried to use install disk creator to make a bootable installation disk.
The disc appeared to be created but when I try to use it on my desktop the
computer does not recognize it as an installation desk.
I also tried to use the terminal to create another bootable USB stick and I got

I've used both and use Install Disk Creator now, less chance of
typing errors in the terminal.

Hi all,
I updated to High Sierra on Tuesday.
I am having trouble accessing the VoiceOver User guide using the VoiceOver
help menu.
I can get to the web site, but am unable to read the guide.
I can find a button to browse the table of contents, but nothing seems to
happen when I press
Hi. An update for Amazon Music came out two days ago and according to the
update info, it is now possible to use Alexa commands on your iOS device to
play music. Has anyone had success doing this? When I tried, I couldn’t find a
button anywhere on the screen for issuing a voice command to the
