Unless I am misunderstanding I can't see this going to work. VoiceOver uses different voices on both iOS and Mac. So if they are going to implement this on the mac then it will have to work across macs only. VoiceOver settings are already synced to iCloud as part of documents and data. In my

Yes, delete the Gmail account on your computer, and no you do not need to disable imap. So long as pop is enabled it should work. Also I suggestin using the other option when adding a new account. It would seem that if you add a Google or Gmail account then it will set it up as what I believe
