I use both. Let's use m.facebook for this troubleshooting.
When you find a friend and open the page/wall, you are looking for
"add friend". This is located above the message, photos, follows,
likes etc, in that cluster. I believe the Add Friend is above this

go to the preferences menu and then advanced. there is an option there to show
develop menu. check that option. A develop menu should now show up after
bookmarks. Choose user agent and then choose the browser you want. Your links
on the mobile site should show up correctly now.

What i would like to know, and i wonder if this just is a Menutab problem or if
it's like this on the main facebook site? Most of the facebook contents is
readable with the mac although it can be a bit tricky to navigate through,
