I did heaer the tutorial type review for Sound Forge. I had a play with the
demo just the other night and found it so accessible even with the unlabeled
buttons that I'm going to switch to it in spring. Back to Amadeus Pro for the
sake of keeping on subject. I do love amadeus pro. It has
Hi Gabriel, Thanks so much for buying the tutorial and it's great to hear you
find it helpful. I'll try not to stray off topic for the list so will steer
clear of comments about Windows sound editors.
Sound Forge for Mac appears to be in quite good shape. It's been a couple of
years since I
Hi Jonathon,
I just purchased your new audio book in both mp3 and Daisy audio and it has
made me curious.
What tool do you use to create the Daisy audio, and do you do it on a Mac or on
Windows?

Hi Jonathan, I’ve also bought your book and finding it very interesting and
useful.
I’ve a question regards Audacity and Sound Forge.
How do you consider these pieces of software? Do you like it and why, how much
are they accessible?
Under Windows, I’m fun of Goldwave, do you know it and do
Hi Scott, thanks very much for buying the tutorial. Hope you found it helpful.

Hi Mike, it's actually a lot easier to do certain things in Amadeus Pro,
because it's a multitrack editor, whereas Sound Forge isn't.
There is also a Sound Forge for Mac which I know some people are using with
success. But it's far more expensive than Amadeus Pro and in my view doesn't

Hi everyone, as I've mentioned a couple of times in various threads about
Amadeus Pro, I've been working on an audiobook about this app. That's now
available and it runs just under four hours. If you'd like to check out the
full table of contents to see if it might be helpful to you, the link
Hi Ray, yes Sound Forge has some very nice post-production tools. Much of the
work I do is for spoken word stuff, so I personally have little need for them
although they may come in handy for some.

Well, John, tell you straight out what I am thinking. I am thinking I'd love
to get my hands on Sound forge for the Mac and then, using amadeus pro as a
hoast editer, gain access to some special features that I know Sound Forge has
but Amadeus does not. The ability to extract out the center
It would be the hight of foolishness and presumption to imagine I know
everything about Amadeus Pro even though I've been using it now for five years.
Therefore, I will check this out.

Still a happy Mac, Verizon Wireless iPhone 6+ and Apple TV user!
Just curious Jonathan, I know you used to use sound forge in Windows,
perhaps you still do, not sure. Anyway, do you think Amadeus on the mac
is just as accessible and functional as sound forge was?
