I should have waited until my head was on straight before I did
this. But its done. It was odd that one app was the oy victim of the
tvOS update.

I haven’t used that feature on my Apple TV, but do agree with the pain in the

I am relieved that deleting the app did not lose my settings. But I
had forgotten the pain of going to a web site and entering an activation

I did have the option of scanning a QR code. For next time, how does
that work? Thanks. You are the best go to resource.

Hi,
Not really. Deleting it, or waiting to see if the app has an update that fixes
the problem is your best choices. I’ve seen this happen where you need to
delete, then re-install an app as it was somehow corrupted during the update
process.

Ok here is what I did this morning. After changing status of a TV
show episode in the Mac TV app, I closed the app then opened it again.
The status change I made did not stick.
Then I looked at the database files in the iTunes Media folder. None
of the date stamps have changed since
Catalina. Initially I had some trouble with getting the library
going which is on an external drive because I did a clean install.

Hi,
Corruption is a possibility. What version of MacOS are you running again?

Hi,
I'm not sure why it's doing this, nor can I confirm very easily right now.
We're in the middle of a Harry Potter marathon. Just starting The Order of the
Phoenix tonight and they're all purchased through iTunes. I'll need to watch
something else all the way through that is ripped and on

In addition to Tim's comments, in most states in the US, it is necessary to add
sales tax to the stated amount. There are only 2 or 3 states which do not add
sales tax. Otherwise, sales tax can be up to 10% or more.
In NZ, GST is 15%, and it is almost always included in the published price.
Hi Simon,
I'm certainly not a lawyer but believe that this sort of thing is not totally
the fault of Apple or any other provider. Different regulations within each
country, different levels of tax levels and such cause things to be priced much
different in each area. We, in Canada, also pay
