Well, Windows is looking good right now, and maybe I'll get a Windows laptop
next, but my Mac has lasted for years. But yes, Windows 10, with Thunderbird,
which isn't accessible on the mac, and Firefox, does look pretty darn good,

I sadly disagree that NVDA is competent enough to replace JAWS or Window-Eyes.
Getting there as more and more apps are supported, for sure, but not there yet;
that’s simply not how the Windows ecosystem works in practice, in my

Hello.
Just been using Safari as I went to the online RNIB library catalogue. Safari
is terrible on that website and I wonder if Safari is broken? Once I sign in
and browse for books either in braille or for Talking books, Safari won’t read
the search results as it keeps saying dialogue.
? Are folks
just using Crome instead? What about Webkit? Is it any better?
Chris.

Hi,
Safari on 10.11 is pretty pathetic right now. It’s the worst experience I’ve
ever had while using OS X.

I’m sending this query on behalf of a friend. He was trying to use Safari on

I know. While I’m sure that things sometimes get corrected, still at other

Go to system preferences in safari, go to general, there are 2 pop up
buttons, make sure they are both set to open your home page. You can also

Hi, Christina,
I found that once I plugged in my most-used sites, it does save lots of time.
Also, there are other apps that do the same thing, such as One Password. I've
never used these others, so other list members can tell you more about those.
I'm now used to using LastPass, so it meets
I also use last pass and so far that has all been on the Mac with Safari. Just

might need to bump around in there for a while till you get

Yes, it is. It's set up like a web page. It's just a little tricky, because you
have to go to a frame to retrieve its messages. Any time you enter or change
passwords, just go to the frame with command-VO-f and interact with it. You'll
be prompted to save your info.
