Hey Trahern. Unfortunately this is a bug in Lion and Growl that hasn't been resolved yet. However I found out that if you press the control key twice while Voice Over is speaking, the problem fixes itself temporarily. I've put this bug into Apple Accessibility and suggest you do the same.

Unfortunately, last I checked, the apps are not very accessible at all, the new version 4 also does not work in windows. Fortunately there is a work around, you can read purchased books on their web site, biblia.com. You can sign in to your logos account on this site and read your purchased
