While I understand your request, I must tell you that I and others that I know
of, strongly pushed Apple to implement this feature so as to cut down on the
number of keystrokes necessary to read mail.

For a while, I have been considering whether to purchase ABBYY FineReader for
Mac. The main reason why I haven’t already bought it is that I’m not sure
whether they are still developing it. The Mac version is still at 12.x, whereas
the Windows version
I don’t use a braille display, but thought this may resolve your issue:
1. Open Mail preferences, and from the Toolbar, select Viewing.
2. Navigate to List Preview, and make sure that None is selected from the
Pop-Up button.

I did finally get the clean install on my mac done. Now I am trying to get apps
to function like they use to. The one I am having an issue with is the mail
app. I have message rules and folders created in my account on the server side.
I have my main inbox and then I have folders

Once you have this running and you get the macOS utilities
Scrole down to disk utilities and run it,
Then once disk utilities is up and
