I didn't demand that the book be free. I just have a hope that they'd do guides

There usually are ways of getting paid stuff for free, but really, why bother?
If you need Microsoft Office, for example, Google Docs works fine too. If you
need FL Studeo, Quick Windows Sequencer plus a few sound fonts, or GarageBand
work fine for that. Really, there are free ways to do plenty
