If it's a genre you use lots, just type the first few letters of it. So, for
example, if you have a genre called "Easy Listening", just type the word "Easy"
then either tab or use VO-right to move on. If you have "Easy Listening" and

So, using your setup, import the folder group that you wish to modify the tags
on. Thus, these will be the only ones with the missing album/artist info. If
you sort things by the Date Added, then you'll have easy access to the newest
imports. Then you can select those newest items, cmd-i

brought up via the VO-Space-M context menu.

That's a rather exaggerated and incorrect evaluation of the process in iTunes.
1. Select the items you wish to modify.
2. Press cmd-i to Get Info.
3. Navigate through the Info dialog editing the fields you wish to modify.
4. Press OK.

dialog in iTunes, you can easily do what you want individually or in bulk.
