Hi all, This is a bit off topic, but I can't think of a better place for a Numbers question. On macOS, I need to keep a log for the next few weeks, updated daily. I'm making a spreadsheet, and I'd like the first column to fill itself with the current date whenever I enter values on the row.

Paul, Sorry for the delay, I was hoping somebody else would answer. I have never used a bluetooth keyboard with my Macintosh. Certainly it should work the same way as with a USB where the insert key works as a jaws key, but occasionally things don't work as smoothly in complex environments.

I run VMWare, and keep a USB keyboard on hand for when I need to run my Windows VM. I use the insert key on the top left of the six pack for this. Yes, the caps lock key won't work in VMWare, but it will in Bootcamp. At least it did last time I ran Bootcamp, some years ago. It should work now,
